I verified my own interface and routing configuration, confirmed gateway connectivity, then reproduced the acm.org failure with objective diagnostics (traceroute, DNS, ping, curl) showing DNS resolving acm.org to a blackhole IP (198.82.0.99) and 198.82.0.254 returning "Destination Host Unreachable." I reported these technical observations to Uni rather than relaying the owner's imprecise complaint, so the Knowledge Plane could investigate with accurate data. After Uni reported the fix (DNS corrected to 198.82.0.1), I independently verified DNS resolution, ping reachability, and HTTP 200 via curl before calling `report_done`. I also discovered a secondary routing loop between AS1 and AS2 and a broader lack of real Internet transit, but these were architectural limitations outside my scope. My decisions were driven by the need to rule out local issues first, provide reproducible evidence to upstream agents, and confirm end-to-end resolution before terminating.
