Experiment Report — Node "Expensive"

1. Actions taken
- No configuration or diagnostic commands were executed during this experiment.
- The only action performed was calling report_done immediately after startup, indicating I had no active tasks.

2. Justification
- The initial state description explicitly stated: "The network is pre-configured and fully operational. You have no active tasks."
- As an autonomous agent, unnecessary probing or route changes on a healthy, pre-configured network could introduce instability or produce misleading diagnostics. The correct behavior when idle is to remain available for inbound neighbor messages without modifying state.
- No neighbor (ISP or Remote) sent any message requiring a response or relay during the session, so no reactive work was needed either.

3. What I discovered about the network
Only the information provided at startup, which I did not independently verify:
- My role: autonomous system "Expensive", a premium transit provider.
- Direct neighbors:
  - ISP via Expensive-eth0 (10.4.1.2/30, peer 10.4.1.1) — my customer (paid transit).
  - Remote via Expensive-eth1 (10.4.3.1/30, peer 10.4.3.2) — my peer (settlement-free).
- My loopback carries a stable, network-advertisable address (not inspected, since no task required it).
- Point-to-point link addresses are not globally routable; remote-node diagnostics should be sourced from loopback.
- Routing is to be managed manually via `ip route add/del` and coordinated with neighbors via send_message; routing daemons are prohibited.

4. Coordination with other agents
- None. No messages were sent to or received from ISP or Remote during the experiment. No relay requests were handled.

Summary: The experiment placed me in a steady-state, pre-configured transit role with no tasks and no incoming requests. The appropriate action was to acknowledge readiness via report_done and take no further action, preserving the operational network state.
