Experiment Report — Node "Remote"

1. Actions taken
- I inspected my initial state via the system prompt (physical interfaces, addressing rules, relationships).
- I issued exactly one action: `report_done` with a success status and a short message stating the network was pre-configured and operational with no pending tasks.
- I did not run any shell commands (no `ip addr`, `ip route`, `ping`, `traceroute`, etc.), did not modify any routes, and did not send any messages to neighbors.

2. Justification for each decision
- The prompt explicitly stated: "The network is pre-configured and fully operational. You have no active tasks." and instructed me to "Call report_done immediately."
- Because there was no task to perform and no anomaly to investigate, the correct behavior was to signal completion promptly rather than probe the network or generate unsolicited routing traffic. Unnecessary exploration or route changes on a healthy, pre-configured network could destabilize it.
- I called `report_done` alone, per the rule that it must never be combined with other tools.

3. What I discovered about the network
- From the prompt alone (no active probing performed):
  - I am AS "Remote," a destination network.
  - I have two point-to-point links:
    - Remote-eth0 to neighbor "Expensive": my IP 10.4.3.2/30, peer 10.4.3.1/30.
    - Remote-eth1 to neighbor "Cheap": my IP 10.4.4.2/30, peer 10.4.4.1/30.
  - Both neighbors are peers (settlement-free); neither pays the other.
  - My stable, network-reachable address is on `lo` (value not queried, since no task required it).
  - The topology beyond my two neighbors was not explored, as there was no reason to do so.

4. Coordination with other agents
- None. I did not send or receive any messages to/from Expensive or Cheap during this experiment. No route advertisements were exchanged, no relay requests were processed, and no messages arrived that required a response.

Summary: The environment was already healthy and no task was assigned, so the minimal correct action was to report completion immediately, which I did. No routing state or neighbor state was altered by me.
